Webmaster: Its all over with the registration for the EUDC, but there are still things you need to do. I hope for you that you got the spot on the EUDC that you wanted, and it will be great to see u all there. Now, as you read, you need to go to the EUDC website and fill in your information on your dietary needs, your arrival and departure date and the person who you would like to sleep with (in the same room).
I'll do it right away
Dear debaters preparing for EUDC,
On behalf of the EUDC 2008 Tallinn team I would like to remind you that
*Phase 3 is open until 15 May*. By this date we need you to specify all
relevant details regarding your arrival and stay by logging in to the
registration system at our website (you will find the login button at
the upper right corner of our webpage www.eudc2008.
eu
<http://www.eudc2008.eu>).
This deadline is only two weeks away, yet by now only a small number of
participants have undertaken to enter any of the relevant information.
We thank these few and ask everyone else to take quick action. Debaters
- please do not ignore this, thinking that your convenor or club's
chairperson takes care of everything. They can't do anything without the
password that only you are in possession of (or at least should be)!
Therefore we kindly ask (read: insist on) everyone who has been
registered and received the Confirmed status to log in to the
registration system at our website and provide the information that has
been asked for. First of all, please *check if your names have been
spelled correctly *and in a way that you would like us to use them at
the tournament. We also ask you to specify your arrival and departure
time, dietary and health restrictions, accommodation preferences etc.
All of this is necessary to guarantee that the tournament runs smoothly
and, most importantly, that you could fully enjoy your stay in Tallinn
and the intensive days of tournament without any unnecessary inconvenience.
You can log in by using the e-mail address that you gave us at
registration and the password that was subsequently sent to that
address. I am aware that many people, in the rush of registration, did
not specify a correct address, leaving the relevant space blank or
marking only X. There are also several institutions that specified one
and the same address for all participants and are now obviously having
trouble logging in, because none of the received passwords work. *If
this applies to you or if for any other reason you have not received a
password or it does not seem to be working, please contact me
immediately at

> and I will
send you a (new) password.*
Please find your password and at least try to log in already today, so
you would not discover on the evening of 15 May that your password does
not work or you have not received one.
*What will happen if you do not give us the required information by 15 May?*
- you will not get to choose your room mates at the hotel and we shall
accommodate you with whomever we choose (possibly some annoying people),
- you will have to find your own way from the airport/railway
station/bus station to the hotel,
- you will not be able to get dietary, vegetarian, kosher etc food
according to your preferences and needs, resulting in a big mess and/or
constant hunger,
- you will be referred to as Mr/Ms X or Unspecified in the tournament
brochure,
- etc, etc.
You do not want any of this to happen, do you?
With kind regards,
Maarja Teder
Communications Director
