Hello incredibly sweet debaters of Europe!
The registration for the Amsterdam Open is coming up to speed, and
boy, it's looking to be a splendid competition! We can already proudly
announce that the University of Ljubljana, and of Zagreb sent in a lot
of teams. We're also very happy to recieve a number of Turkish teams.
But we're especially happy to be able to announce that this tournament
will see the revival of a legendary team: the Euros 2003 winners, the
legends Can Okar and Aneurin Brewer, will return to the trenches of
verbal warfare...THIS is your chance to try your skills at them and see
if they're still on top of the game! There´s a few more suprises in the
ranks, but we´ll keep them under the lid for now...
Also, one of our DCA's, Avihu Tamir, who happens to know Amsterdam
very well, has been labouring hard to write his own "Lonely
Planet"-like tourist guide to The City (Amsterdam, not London). One of
