Well, its not sure yet, that there is going to be one, because McCaine announced, that he will not attend it, if they do not reach an agreement on the new Federal intervention. And as NY Times reports here they have not reached a decision yet. That means that McCaine should not show up. Obama on the other hand said, that he will be there, more or less, no matter what.
Will there be only one candidat, and an empty stage? We will see. I hope that C-span is going to show the debate on its website and that I do not fall asleep before it starts.
Now I only need to figure out what time it happens, and then we are all set up. I should maybe get some pop corn… It will be a blast.

Well, I just wanted to check out the WSDC tab, and because I believe that Windows Vista sux (and my computer is so bad that it won’t run it) I just found out that I’m not able to see the results.
They were released only in the .docx Word version, the newest version of Microsoft Word.
I know that a lot of people still use the Older versions of Office, just because the new version has a new set of icons, that are just unusable, by my oppinion.
Ill write them to release it in .doc or .pdf or something, so that all the people out there will be able to read them.
Or if you have them, just save them in .doc and post them somewhere, send them to me and I’ll post them

Well, today in a couple of hours, the World Schools debate championship starts. For some of the teams it started allready yesterday, because they had to debate for the BYE rounds, but for the Slovenian team, today is the day.
Their first debate will be on the motion “This house supports military intervention to deliver emergency aid in humanitarian crises.” and they debate on the propositon against England. This will be a great debate, I know and I hope that they will be able to beat the England team (no offence England
).
The second debate for them will be an impromptu, so we do not know the motion yet, but we do know they debate against Singapore.
I will cross my fingers, they should win at least one debate today. I hope they will, and we will see the results very soon.
Here you can see the team talking to Tuna.

Well, if you haven’t heard yet, our (Slovenian) prime minister was accused that he took bribes for the deal with the Finnish Partia, when we bought (and are still buying) armored vehicles from this Finnish (partially government owned) firm.
I’m really sorry for what the Slovenian politics are doing right now. I’m sorry for us trying to use diplomacy to get your government to push the Broadcasting channel to change its perspective. Yes, this is how they try to do it in Slovenia, but we do not want them to do it and we do not want others to do it.
I’m sorry for the words of a couple of Slovenian politicians, who said that a Slovenian party is controlling your police, your courts and your national TV channel. We do not believe that and they are just too stupid to know that this is not possible. Saying “The Slovenian socialists are together with the Finnish in the EP group” is not an argument that we own you…
I’m also sorry that they try to say that your journalists sux so much that they would make up a story and show it only to destroy the Slovenian election process. I know you do not care about it, and I feel totally ok with it.
I’m sorry that we tried to show your journalists as bad, just because they have shown something that our PM and his little helpers do not like. But they just do not know how to do it in a polite manner. Saying he is bad and he is a Communist is just a way how they deal with people that do not agree with that.
I’m also sorry that we are probably going to insult more of your people, whoever is going to speak on behalf of this story. This is the lowest point that the Slovenian politics has reached, and I hope that someone here will try to get some sense in this story and make us look like a developed state again. BTW here are some links to international journals that write about it:
Helsinki Times
Der Standard
